  • MHG Homeless Outreach Program

a year-round project, targets seriously mentally ill adults. Since the program began in 2003, MHG and volunteers have assembled over 2,500 hygiene kits. Members of PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transitioning from Homelessness) distribute kits to individuals who they assess to be homeless and mentally ill.

  • PATH’s goal is to locate and connect them with social services. During the holidays, PATH distributes food boxes and gifts collected by MHG to homeless families impacted by mental illness.

  • The Wendy Paine O’Brien Treatment Center

The center offers unique programs for adolescents who have emotional, behavioral, chemical or dependency problems.

  • The Howard S. Gray Education Center

Through individualized instruction the center gives students with emotional and learning disabilities an increased success in any future academic or occupational endeavors. MHG supports the school by offering scholarships for both the day school and the summer school program.

  • The Scottsdale Banner Prevention Outreach Team

This team visits high schools to provide information to students, parents, faculty and administrators about suicide prevention and the warning signs of mental illness.
